Costume Karaoke – October 30, 2025
Costume Karaoke is your chance to dress up, grab the mic, and sing your heart out with show-stopping Broadway hits and fan-favourite tunes.
The playlist will feature plenty of Broadway hits, so whether you’re channeling Elphaba, Regina George, or your favorite pop star, there’s a song for you. Bring your friends, your best Halloween spirit, and your boldest costume for an evening full of laughter, music, and memories.
It’s the perfect way to celebrate Halloween with fellow theatre lovers.

Improv Jam – November 14, 2025
We’re bringing some “Yes, and!” energy to the DEYA Teens Club with our very first Improv Jam! Hosted by the Youth Academy’s brand-new Improv Company, a team of seven talented teen improvisers, this event invites participants to jump in, play, and discover the fun of improv. The evening will include team-building activities, active theatre warm-ups, and short-form improv games designed to help teens boost their confidence, sharpen their quick thinking, and have a great time in a supportive, inclusive space.

2025 Fall Session Classes
Acting
Teens of all skill levels are welcome to enroll in Scripted Acting. In this class, students will explore character development through text analysis, working with age- and level-appropriate monologues selected from a diverse range of published plays.
Tuesdays: 4:15pm – 5:30pm
Improv
Yes, and….!” This dynamic class invites actors of all levels to explore the art of improvisation through non-scripted storytelling, drama-based games, and spontaneity. Whether you’re new to improv or looking to sharpen your skills, you’ll grow in a supportive, collaborative environment that encourages creativity, quick thinking, and bold choices.
Tuesdays: 5:45pm – 7:00pm
Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre is for anyone who loves to sing, dance and act! This is our introductory triple threat class. Students will work as an ensemble to learn music and choreography to a wide range of age-appropriate musical production numbers from Broadway shows.
Tuesdays: 7:15pm – 8:30pm
Broadway Beat with Chad
Get your weekly dose of sweat, style, and serious Broadway vibes! Each class dives into a different musical or choreographic style—from old-school showbiz classics to today’s biggest stage hits. One week it’s sharp Fosse jazz, the next it’s can-can kicks or full-out theatre jazz—no two weeks are the same! You’ll build technique, boost musicality, and bring your performance game to the next level, all while dancing hard and having a blast. Come ready to move, sweat, and have some serious fun living your best Broadway life!

Annual High School Project
Drayton Entertainment has been steadily growing its training offerings for young performers over the past several years, including launching its state-of-the-art training hub, The Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy. Its mission is to provide performing and technical arts training opportunities anchored in the Drayton Entertainment brand of live theatre excellence, facilitated by professional industry mentors. Our aim is to cultivate community, incite leadership, ignite imagination, and boost confidence in a socially aware, inclusive environment.
The annual High School Musical Production Program offers 100% barrier-free access, including financial, emotional and physical, to unite students from different backgrounds, identities, cultures, abilities and interests, completely free of charge. Drayton Entertainment is committed to diverse, inclusive casting without regard to disability, ethnocultural identity, or gender. It allows students to be mentored by professionals in ALL departments, both on stage and off. We’re seeking passionate theatre-makers, whether their passion lies in performing or technical arts, to gain the hands-on, transferable life skills required to present a fully-staged Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy Production.
