Private Vocal Tutorials
Students of all levels of experience are welcome to enroll in Private Vocal Tutorials. Students will collaborate with their Instructor to set goals and choose materials that suit their vocal style. Instructors will guide students through a variety of vocal techniques to build students vocal strength and improve confidence as a solo performer.
Goals
- Focus on vocal technique
- Build vocal strength
- Improve confidence for live performance
- Tailor lessons to student specific needs and vocal style
- Set personalized goals for each student
Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will have a better understanding of vocal technique across multiple genres, including vocal warm-ups, pitch/range and breathe control.
- Students will build vocal strength by exploring material within multiple genres
- Students will develop an understanding of solo performance by analyzing emotion, interpretation and vocal phrasing.
- Students will build a repertoire of suited to their vocal style
Private Acting Tutorials
Students of all levels of experience are welcome to enroll in Private Acting Tutorials. Students will collaborate with Instructor to set goals and choose materials that suit their acting style. Instructors will guide students through a variety of acting techniques to build students understanding of becoming a character and improve confidence as a solo performer.
Goals
- Expose students to various methods of Acting technique
- Build physical and intellectual responses to text
- Improve confidence for live performance
- Tailor lessons to student specific needs and acting style
- Set personalized goals for each student
Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will develop an understanding of becoming a character through the study of text, and how their character is impacted by the “world of the play”
- Students will develop an understanding of how to build their character through movement and vocal exercises
- Students will learn to make clear choices for their characters by analyzing the emotional and intellectual content of the text
- Students will build a repertoire of contrasting characters
Students will have a better understanding of various acting techniques.
Book a half hour one-on-one coaching with Eric Da Costa to work through a monologue for an upcoming show, learn about acting through song, prepare for an audition or focus on fundamentals to sharpen your skills.
Tutorials with Eric are available Tuesdays from May 21st – June 25th from 4:00pm – 4:30pm, 4:30pm – 5:00pm, 5:00pm – 5:30pm, 7:15pm – 7:45pm, and 7:45pm to 8:15pm.
Students should come prepared with material to their first tutorial but may ask Eric for suggestions about material for future coaching.

Eric has been touring the world for the last four years in Hanna Moscovitch’s award-winning show, Old Stock.
Previous credits include: Jersey Boys, Annie, Honk!, Snow White: the Panto, Peter Pan: the Panto (Drayton Entertainment); Key Change (Globe Theatre Regina); and Hollywood Hits (Stage West Calgary).

Stephanie Pitsiladis
Stephanie made her professional debut in the Mirvish production of Hairspray in 2004 where she was the first Canadian to perform the role of Tracy Turnblad. She has revisited the role across the country multiple times with the Charlottetown Festival, Drayton Entertainment, Rainbow Stage, and Mayfield Theatres.
Stephanie also founded and ran a successful semi-professional theatre program from 2007 – 2011 and coached the Laval Liberty Improv team which competed in the Canadian Improv Games.
Other credits include: Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, Man of La Mancha, Steel Magnolias, Snow White: The Panto, Aladdin: The Panto, The Gefilte Fish Chronicles, The Importance of Being Earnest, History of Rock and Roll: Stars and Stripes, Class of ’63: A Rockin’ Reunion, My Fair Lady, The Christmas Express and Kinky Boots.
