DEYA Teens Club Logo Contest

We’re on the hunt for a logo that captures the spirit, energy, and voice of Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy Teens (DEYA TEENS CLUB) and we want YOU to design it! This is your chance to make your mark on something big. We believe in the power of youth creativity, and we want to see how you can represent your generation through design. Whether you’re an artist, doodler, digital creator, or just have a cool idea, we want to see what you come up with. Get involved in your community, showcase your talents, and help shape the future of DEYA Teens.

The winning design will be featured across our platforms, and the creator will receive a complimentary Fall Session Class for themselves AND a friend of their choice. Let your creativity lead the way!

2025 Fall Session Classes

Acting
Teens of all skill levels are welcome to enroll in Scripted Acting. In this class, students will explore character development through text analysis, working with age- and level-appropriate monologues selected from a diverse range of published plays.

Improv
Yes, and….!” This dynamic class invites actors of all levels to explore the art of improvisation through non-scripted storytelling, drama-based games, and spontaneity. Whether you’re new to improv or looking to sharpen your skills, you’ll grow in a supportive, collaborative environment that encourages creativity, quick thinking, and bold choices.

Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre is for anyone who loves to sing, dance and act! This is our introductory triple threat class. Students will work as an ensemble to learn music and choreography to a wide range of age-appropriate musical production numbers from Broadway shows.

Broadway Beat with Chad
Get your weekly dose of sweat, style, and serious Broadway vibes! Each class dives into a different musical or choreographic style—from old-school showbiz classics to today’s biggest stage hits. One week it’s sharp Fosse jazz, the next it’s can-can kicks or full-out theatre jazz—no two weeks are the same! You’ll build technique, boost musicality, and bring your performance game to the next level, all while dancing hard and having a blast. Come ready to move, sweat, and have some serious fun living your best Broadway life!

Cinderella: The Panto Children’s Chorus – St Jacobs Country Playhouse
Youth ages 8 – 15 can audition for the children’s ensemble in Drayton Entertainment’s production of Cinderella: The Panto alongside professional performers in the lead roles.
This program is offered completely free of charge.

Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr. – Advanced Musical Theatre Company
This Fall Session, our Advanced Musical Theatre Company will be presenting Disney’s Dare to Dream, a musical revue of hit Disney classics. This is a program rehearses for three hours a week on Sundays, with extended rehearsals beginning in January. At the conclusion of the program, our Junior and Senior Musical Theatre Companies will present the 60-minute performance at the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge. This production is performed entirely by students of the Youth Academy.
For this special production, we are forming two exclusive, audition-based ensembles:
Senior Advanced Musical Theatre Company (ages 14–18)
Junior Advanced Musical Theatre Company (ages 8–13)

Advance Drama Company
The Drama Company is a 12-week intensive for teens aged 14 – 18 who are serious about their craft and up for a challenge. Participants will dig into scene work, character development, movement, and ensemble work—all alongside professional artists and a group of peers who share your passion. Throughout the program, students will push their limits, take creative risks, and grow as a performer in a supportive, high-energy environment. The session wraps up with an in-studio performance showcase—a chance to share hard work, process, and progress with friends and family.

Advanced Improv Company
The Improv Company is an advanced-level training program designed for dedicated teen performers looking to deepen their improvisation skills through weekly rehearsals and performances. Students will train in short-form and long-form improv, character work, team collaboration, and quick thinking, preparing them to perform in showcases and potentially compete in improv festivals or tournaments.

Annual High School Project

Drayton Entertainment has been steadily growing its training offerings for young performers over the past several years, including launching its state-of-the-art training hub, The Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy. Its mission is to provide performing and technical arts training opportunities anchored in the Drayton Entertainment brand of live theatre excellence, facilitated by professional industry mentors. Our aim is to cultivate community, incite leadership, ignite imagination, and boost confidence in a socially aware, inclusive environment.

The annual High School Musical Production Program offers 100% barrier-free access, including financial, emotional and physical, to unite students from different backgrounds, identities, cultures, abilities and interests, completely free of charge. Drayton Entertainment is committed to diverse, inclusive casting without regard to disability, ethnocultural identity, or gender. It allows students to be mentored by professionals in ALL departments, both on stage and off. We’re seeking passionate theatre-makers, whether their passion lies in performing or technical arts, to gain the hands-on, transferable life skills required to present a fully-staged Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy Production.
