Location: Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy (145 Northfield Dr W, Waterloo)
Term: Tuesday, May 21st – Wednesday, June 26th, 2024
Cost: $60 + HST (that’s just $10 per class!)

Show Tunes Stretch

Adults of all levels of experience are welcome to join us for Show Tunes Stretch! This 45-minute class will guide you through a variety of yoga-inspired stretches – all set to a relaxing repertoire of Broadway show tunes. This class seeks to bring harmony to the body by linking movement and breath resulting in greater peace of mind. ALL LEVELS WELCOME!

*Please wear clothes you’re comfortable moving in and bring a water bottle, indoor running shoes and mat, towel that can go on the floor

This class is offered on Tuesdays from 6:00pm to 6:45pm

Show Tunes Sweat

Adults of all levels of experience are welcome to join us for Show Tunes Sweat! This 45-minute class will include a warm-up, an easy to follow cardio dance combination, and a cool down and stretch – all set to your favourite Broadway show tunes. Get sweaty with us as we sing, laugh and dance – it is the most fun you will ever have while working out! ALL LEVELS of fitness are welcome. ALL LEVELS WELCOME!

This class is offered on Tuesdays from 7:00pm to 7:45pm and Wednesdays from 6:00pm to 6:45pm

Trayvon Ward

All Show Tunes Wellness Classes (Babies, Sit & Be Fit, Stretch and Sweat)

Trayvon Ward has a passion for assisting people in accomplishing their wellness objectives. They have previously worked as a coach and instructor at Anytime Fitness and Playground Movement Training Centre, NLC Dance Company and more. Trayvon has experience conducting group classes of varying sizes that concentrate on building self-esteem along with strength, endurance, flexibility, mobility and more.

Drayton Entertainment audiences will recognize Trayvon from his appearances in Mamma Mia!, The Prom, Kinky Boots and Peter Pan: The Panto.

According to Trayvon, exercising should always be fun and promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle that promotes all-round well-being. In these SHOW TUNES Wellness classes, Trayvon will offer personalized attention and guidance to musical theatre lovers by integrating a wide variety of exercises and techniques to maintain a fun and challenging atmosphere while ensuring that classes are accessible and FUN for everyone of all experience levels.

Each and every day he arrived at Huron Country Playhouse, he knew he was stepping into a place where his passions and dreams were going to be honoured, respected and encouraged.

The staff involved had an incredible ability to push the kids outside of their comfort zones to try new things and take risks. Most of all, they were able to teach kids to embrace differences and that it’s okay to be different.
